The past two years we have been lucky to have regular visits from batches of juvenile tufted titmice. I’m not exactly sure where they have nested. Aside from being really cute, they have also been very entertaining. The young ones do things the adults never seem to do. Strangely, the juveniles will regularly eat jelly that is put out for the orioles to eat. I guess the kids have a sweet tooth? They also would bathe every day in the bird bath outside the kitchen window. Sometimes all four would be lined up waiting for a dip in the pool.
